Civil Engineering is one of the oldest branches of engineering. It's a spinal cord of a country's private and public goods dealing with designing, constructing and supervising the infrastructure like dams, roads, bridges, waste water treatment plants etc. It is studied under various heads like Geotechnical Engineering, Control Engineering, Forensic Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Construction Engineering and Structural Engineering amongst others.
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 in Science stream with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry & appeared or passed JEE
The documents needed for the admission to first year of engineering are as follows:-
Your own passport size photographs duly signed by you ( attested by you)
Keep all the originals with you at the time of admission.
A nation can't look for a better future unless its' present is nurtured well. And there is no denying fact that the growth of a nation lies in its people and infrastructure. In developing countries like India, where population is increasing at a fast pace, the need of more construction is of prime importance. It's because, for development more infra-structure is needed and to build that, more civil engineers are required. Hence, the employment opportunities in this field of engineering can never go down.
